NoMound in North Carolina
The NoMound® onsite system is now available for use in NC.
The current DENR approval is limited to a maximum of 200 systems.
While new to North Carolina – NoMound is not new. NoMound® onsite systems are currently used to lower groundwater so that onsite wastewater systems will function properly in Florida, Alaska and British Columbia. The first NoMound onsite system has been in continuous operation since March 1999.
